A Fine Wine Tasting Event

Imbibe 2025

Imbibe 2025 will held on Saturday April 12th at Venue 1235 in North Lawrence, Kansas. The event will begin at 2:00pm and end at 5:00pm. Ticket Prices include $50.00 General Admission and $80 VIP tickets.

Other events include a Wine Dinner at J.Wilson's Restaurant presented by Al Spencer. The dinner is on Thursday, April 10th beginning at 6:00pm.  Price for the Wine Dinner is $125.00 which includes tax and gratuities.

J.Wilson's Wine Dinner

Please join us for a night of food and wine pairings! Al Spencer from Ad Astra Selections has chosen special wines to showcase that will be paired with a delicious menu from the head chef's at J.Wilson's. The Menu for the Imbibe Dinner is pictured to the right.

Founded in 2001, J.Wilson's is named after Mr. Johnny Wilson who founded Johnny's Traven in 1978, an original Lawrence restauranteur. Genovese is a locally owned and a Chef driven Italian restaurant. Using the freshest ingredients, their goal is to provide an authentic taste of Italy in an affordable manner. Subarna Bhattachan, Alejandro Lule & Armando Paniagua founded Genovese in 2007, revitalizing the restaurant in 2022.
